My stock in SiriusXM is up and I am playing a show tonight. My dogs are happy and my belly is full of a good self-made breakfast. I have the woman of my dreams (literally) with a ring on her finger and armor enough for handling me and the world. We are unstoppable. The Live Beat column I feel is getting better and better. But I suppose I tend to ramble so i am working on it (along with proper grammar but i'm to lazy to capitalize all of my "i's" right now). When I look at the world through these words it makes me happy. I should think doing this a little more often would help me out. It seems i tend to lack some confidence when my plate isn't overflowing with 'busy'. Summer is almost over but that's alright. I'm looking forward to getting out my coats. I wonder if people are a fraction stronger here during and after the 'coat seasons' because they have more weight on their body during the cold for a somewhat extended period. It would be interesting if that were true so lets pretend it is. That would mean...

We are stronger by proportion here in the Northwest than in other warmer parts of the country. It is with compliment in irony to 'the grey'; which hangs over the valley for an extended period of seasons chipping away at our individual gleam and putting our minds in a sunless haze. So things are out of balance it would seem during the summer month- the event a paradise dream, and we make the most of it.

I'm in need of a chest of drawers... going to look into that. Also just finished my second live beat column. I think its better than the last except for the picture of our cat, Olaf with The Great Idea tickets. More deliberate writing- less deadline coaxed. http://www.potz.blitz.szpilman.de/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/olaf_breuning.jpg

Got some of my gear up and working again. That's a bit of a weight off. Started taking notes for the next Live Beat today. Cruising upcoming entries on FB events. The site is saturated but I think I have an answer to that. It involves moving people away from event creation on that site as, yes, it can be effective, but there is very little creativity or artistic and marketing energy put into the very diluted sea of happenings. Eyeballs, eyeballs, eyeballs. That's what people want on their promo tools. That's what people want on their band, their product, their service, their charity, their news, and even their ice cream - well you get the idea. I messaged a programmer today recommended by my friend and part of The Great Idea graphic department in regards to moving people's eyeballs to this app-worthy idea. It is something that can not only help Salem artists, businesses, and other events programming, but can be adopted and made local to anyone. The idea has steps that need to be fleshed out still. I need a small team of people that know what they're doing where I don't, but that's one thing I know how to do- have an idea and then put diverse archetypes of folks in a room together for us to mull on and make it go. http://img.desmotivaciones.es/201103/motes2.jpg

Well entry number 2 here is already way later than i thought it'd be. Also my computer keyboard and subsequently satellite wireless keyboard have malfunctioned. To me it seems the odds are low on that problem. I'ce been a Samsung fan for years but this experience is proving otherwise. I'm typibg this with my Samsung phone which hasn't caved yet. However there's no cursor and the field size doesn't fit to screen so pardon any obvious mispellings or grammerical errors. My first Live beat article came out today in the Salem Weekly (http://www.willamettelive.com/category/musicnightlife/). Not bad for getting it in right under deadline while simultaneously constructing an entire sound scgeme for a musical 2days away. The Great Odea is also in 2 weeks and that ship is being let to sea as we speak. Control issues. I have some. You really can pre meditate only so much, pre produce only to a degree of foreseen protection and planning, but the shits going down. My problems are good problems to have- certainly noy mundane. Stay tuned.
